This course is designed to develop practitioners’ observation, assessment, and planning skills. It will examine how an effective observation system ensures that the Unique child is at the centre of practice and provision and allow practitioners to build upon fascinations and interests. It will explore how assessment processes should feed with immediacy into planning, building upon children’s knowledge of what they know and can do in order to challenge, stretch and ignite learning.
