The sessions are led by Neil Farmer early years specialist, author and trainer. He is currently a School Improvement Specialist for the Brent Schools Partnership, leading on school improvement with a focus on raising outcomes in schools, a lead associate for the Southwark Diocese, leading on school improvement and a senior advisor with the Griffin and Kite Trusts. He has written books on Raising Boys Attainment, Getting it Right in Reception and Excellence in Learning and Teaching in Schools.

Transition into, through and out of the Foundation Stage                  

This course will explore the need for seamless transitions in the Early Years and into Key Stage One, building upon what has gone before and offering continuity, change and  increased challenge in the learning experiences and opportunities – ensuring children have the required time and space to develop skills, to practise and to embed learning.
